Scenes from Memorial Day Weekend

Hope you are having a relaxing Memorial Day weekend.  Here are a few scenes from mine. We have been doing some work around the house getting the baby's room ready, but there will definitely be plenty of this happening...

Prep work for Cowboy Caviar to take to a friend's house. Over the last few years, this has been one of my go-to appetizers to take to a summer party. It's healthy, quick to prepare, and always a crowd pleaser. Plus, I just love the colors, so summery and bright! I will be sharing the recipe in a post soon. 

Hostess gifts I put together for my friend's sweet girls, Bella and Gigi.

This nectarine and blueberry pie is to die for and the perfect summer dessert, especially when it's served warm with vanilla ice cream!
